Rick Wagner, PT, CMTPT, CSCS, VCS, Managing Partner

Rick is a graduate of UW-Madison and has been a licensed physical therapist for over 20 years. He opened Body Renovation in 2002, and has continued to help it grow to what it is today. Rick believes strongly in patient education. He takes time to teach patients about their injuries and how they can help themselves achieve their rehabilitation goals. Rick has a wide variety of orthopedic physical therapy experience, including work with many of Milwaukee's professional sports teams. He has lectured at Marquette University and UW-Milwaukee, teaching hundreds of other rehab professionals his unique approach to rehabilitation. In addition, Rick is a Certified Manual Trigger Point therapist, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Volleyball Conditioning Specialist. When not in clinic, Rick enjoys time at home with family, Wisconsin sports and trail runs with his pups, Gus and Gertie. |
Brian Gajafsky, PT, CMTPT, CSCS, Partner

Brian is a 18+ year graduate of the UW-Madison Physical Therapy program and officially joined the BRPT staff in 2010. He has extensive background working with high-level high school, collegiate and professional athletes, including Marquette University and the Milwaukee Admirals. Both acCertified Manual Trigger Point Therapist and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Brian's practice interests lie in orthopedic manual therapy, orthotics and running analysis, as well as functional training. In his spare time, Brian is an avid pilot, enjoys skiing and loves spending time with his wife and two children. |
Ben Quist, DPT, CSCS, Partner

Ben completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Concordia University and has been a licensed therapist for more than 15 years. Ben also founded the Form & Fitness organization, and believes in a comprehensive approach to rehab, taking the patient's full body and lifestyle into account to enhance his/her overall wellness program. |
Matthew Kinkade, DPT, CMTPT
Licensed Physical Therapist, Certified Manual Trigger Point Therapist
Physical therapy was a second career path as Matt worked as a carpenter in his early 20’s. He also volunteered with a disaster relief organization where he was able to help with the Space Shuttle Columbia recovery in Texas, participated in search/recovery diving and other relief services. It was here where service and helping others became a passion that propelled Matt into a PT education. Matt’s professional skills are an expression of his core purpose to compassionately meet the needs of those he serves. Since graduating form Concordia University in 2013, Matt has worked diligently to obtain manual therapy and diagnostic skills necessary to creatively and skillfully "Leave no stone unturned." This includes certifications in trigger point dry needling, the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (Levels 1 and 2) and the Schroth Rehabilitation Method (Level I). Matt has extensive experience treating a variety of spine conditions, chronic low back pain, neck pain and postoperative spine surgeries. He also enjoys treating the jaw/TMJ. Outside of work Matt enjoys spending time with his family, doing projects around his house, hiking, and the Green Bay Packers. (Matt has successfully treated both Bear and Viking fans in his career.) |
Heather Teplin, MPT, CMTPT

Since graduating from the Marquette University Physical Therapy program, Heather has actively treated patients with a variety of orthopedic, sports- and everyday-related injuries. Her treatment has grown to include extensive manual therapy skills and dry needling pain management techniques. Heather is also a Certified Manual Trigger Point Therapist. In her spare time, when not spending time with her husband and two boys, Heather is very active in the Mequon schools and sports communities. |
Samantha Gries (Sam), DPT, ATC

Sam has been a practicing physical therapist for 5 years in the orthopedic setting. She graduated from the UW-La Crosse physical therapy program and Concordia University Wisconsin's athletic training program. Sam believes in not only treating patient's symptoms, but also in identifying and addressing the underlying cause for symptom development. Patient engagement in their care and patient education are also important aspects of her treatment philosophy. She has experience working with runners, performing gait analyses and fabricating custom orthotics. She is a Certified Manual Trigger Point Therapist. In addition to work, Sam enjoys competing in road and trail running races, biking, and rock climbing. |

Jes graduated from the UW-Madison Physical Therapy program in 1996. She firmly believes that how we position and move throughout the day has a great effect on how we feel. Her treatment style follows an integrative model incorporating active listening, position and movement analysis, lifestyle modification and stress management. In addition, Jes believes in bringing other practitioners onto the rehab ‘team,’ whether it be chiropractic care, nutrition coaching, personal training, life coaching. Since recovering from her own breast cancer treatment in 2014, Jes has added women's health to her practice, pursuing pelvic floor education through Herman and Wallace. These additional skills allow Jes to assist women in reducing/resolving pelvic pain symptoms so they can achieve the highest quality of life possible. Jes also works with pregnant women pre- and post- delivery, reducing birth trauma and more effectively getting back to baseline function. In her spare time, Jes is active in the Wauwatosa yoga community, both teaching classes and training others as instructors. |
Peter Arndt, DPT, CMTPT

Peter Arndt earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Concordia University of Wisconsin. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, he has experience treating a broad range of musculoskeletal injuries, specializing in injury prevention screening and assessment to maximize recovery, fitness and performance. In addition to his doctorate in physical therapy, he is also a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist; Certified Graston Provider; Schroth Certified with the Barcelona Scoliosis Physical Therapy School; Y-Balance Certified; Functional Movement Screen (FMS) Certified; Selective Functional Movement Screen (SFMA) Certified; Functional Range Released Certified; Functional Range Condition Certified. He has also pursued advanced course work in manual therapy, therapeutic neuroscience education, injury specific rehabilitation and functional training. Peter’s functional approach to restore motion and movement quality will benefit anyone - from athletes, weekend warriors, industrial athletes to moms/dads/neighbors looking to be able to play and move better. Colleen Wilkens, MPT

Colleen graduated from Marquette University in 1999 with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. She has spent her career treating orthopedic conditions utilizing a variety of manual therapy skills, patient education and exercise to help her patients understand their bodies and move effectively to reach their goals. Colleen enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic conditions, including surgical and non-surgical spine and extremity conditions. Colleen has special interest in sports medicine and the treatment of athletes. She enjoys running gait analysis and helping athletes return to their sport Since 2011, she has been expanding her practice with advanced training in the comprehensive evaluation and treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction. Colleen is passionate about helping women during and after pregnancy to understand their bodies and return to the activities they love while feeling good. She specializes in treating pre-natal, post-natal, bowel and bladder dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, diastasis recti and pelvic pain issues. Colleen has advanced training in the following: vocal cord dysfunction, temporal mandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, myofascial trigger point therapy, Graston Technique- instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, and custom foot orthotics consultation and fitting. Outside of work, Colleen enjoys running, going to the gym, biking, gardening, boating, coaching, being a Girl Scout leader and spending time with her husband and three kids. |
