THE NOVEL HUMAN CORONAVIRUS AND COVID-19
We are open and ready to help.
And we're dedicated to the health and safety of our patients and staff.
As the novel Human Coronavirus and COVID-19 begins to have an increased impact on our communities, we feel its important to communicate the steps we are taking to help keep you, our employees and, ultimately, our communities safe and healthy.
We are an essential service per the Department of Homeland Security and under the State of Wisconsin "Safer at Home" order. As the experts in orthopedic care, we should be the first point of contact for orthopedic pain, injury or other issues.
This allows our patients and community to avoid congesting primary or urgent care centers, as well as emergency rooms. In avoiding those, patients will not only avoid any virus, we help those health care professionals to focus on the epidemic and other emergency issues at hand.
We are committed to the highest standards in keeping our staff healthy and clinics safe. Some of our efforts include:
EMPOWER YOURSELF TO STAY HEALTHY AND HELP YOUR COMMUNITY
Wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
(An alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol can replace this in the event soap and water are not available.)
Stay home when sick, except to get related medical care.
Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue and throw away immediately.
(Use the crux of your elbow if tissue is not available.
Face masks are NOT recommended unless you show signs of an upper respiratory infection.)
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
Clean frequently-touched surfaces and objects often.
