Emma Delabek

I am so excited to be a part of the BRPT team! I have been working with insurance and patients for several years now. I am a full-time dental hygiene student at MATC. I started dental assisting three years ago, and quickly adapted to the insurance side of things, which has helped me learn the ropes at Body Renovation. 

I grew up in West Bend, but recently moved to Saukville. I love exploring the area. I live right on the river and try to take full advantage of water activities! I am a very active person, therefore have sustained many injuries, especially in my competitive softball years. I have seen many physical therapists, and each has helped me in so many ways.

The environment at Body Renovation is what I love the most. Each therapist genuinely loves what they do, and goes above and beyond for their patients. I believe that creates a welcoming environment that I am so happy to be a part of. I also have lots of experience working with patients, and love to meet new people here at the front desk!

My favorite food to cook: I have recently fallen in love with cooking. I am still learning so I don't have a favorite yet, however I really enjoy making things fully from scratch. For example, I enjoy making bread, pizza crusts, butter, cinnamon rolls, pasta from scratch is one of my best! If I can make the entire recipe from my house (with vegetables from our garden, even better!!), I'm always down to try it.

If I could visit anywhere in the world: I would visit Italy, rent a little bike, and ride around everywhere as much as I could. Italy has so many cool historical sites that I can't wait to see someday. It is also a great spot to learn how to perfect my pasta making!

My worst injury: I played competitive softball for a very long time. I played in the outfield and as I dove to catch a ball (I was good, I swear!!) I landed on the ball and broke two ribs. I had PT for months!

When I am not at work, I am: Finding every excuse to be active! At our house, my boyfriend and I have two cats and two dogs. We love to take them everywhere (although the cats are limited). I love to find new spots to take the dogs to explore. We have been adventuring in Port Washington the most as I just moved to Saukville and am still figuring out the best places to walk! I enjoy hiking, gardening, cooking/baking, skiing, reading, boating and fishing.
